What is DPI?

DPI (Dots Per Inch) measures the density of ink dots in a printed image. While it doesn't change the digital pixel resolution, it tells printers how large to print the image.

Quick Guide:
  • 72 DPI: Standard for screens/web.
  • 300 DPI: Standard for printing photos.
  • 600 DPI: High-quality archival prints.
