4. Control Panel Settings

    • Info Icon: Click the icon next to "Photo Type" to open a modal with a comprehensive table of photo sizes for all supported countries and album types.
  • Photo Type: Based on the selected country, this dropdown will populate with common photo types (e.g., Passport, Visa, ID).
  • Album: Select "Album" from the "Country" dropdown to access predefined album photo sizes.
  • Custom: If you select "Custom" for either "Country" or "Photo Type", the "Custom Width (mm)" and "Custom Height (mm)" fields will appear, allowing you to input precise dimensions.

4.2. Layout & Quality Settings

  • Page Orientation: Choose between "Portrait" (taller than wide) or "Landscape" (wider than tall) for your paper layout.
  • Spacing (mm): Define the space between individual photos on the page in millimeters.
  • Border Width (mm): Set the thickness of the border around each photo in millimeters.
  • DPI: Select the Dots Per Inch for the output image quality. "Original" will attempt to use the image's native DPI or default to 300 DPI.
  • Show Cut Lines: Toggle "Yes" or "No" to display dashed lines around each photo for easy cutting.
  • Print Quality: Choose "Standard" or "High Quality" for the final output. This primarily affects JPG/PNG compression.
  • Border Color: Use the color picker to select the color of the photo borders.

5. Uploading Photos

  • Upload Area: The dashed box labeled "Drag & drop photos here or click to browse".
    • Click to Browse: Click anywhere within the upload area to open your file explorer and select images.
    • Drag & Drop: Drag image files directly from your computer and drop them onto the upload area.
  • Supported Formats: Only JPG and PNG image formats are supported. An error message will appear if you try to upload other file types.
  • Progress Bar: A progress bar will indicate the status of image processing after upload.

6. Managing Uploaded Photos (Custom Layout)

Once photos are uploaded, the "Uploaded Photos for Custom Layout" section will appear.

  • Photo List: Each uploaded photo will be listed with:
    • A thumbnail preview.
    • File name and original/assigned dimensions.
    • Copies Input: A number input field to specify how many copies of that particular photo you want on the layout.
    • Individual Photo Type Select: A dropdown to assign a specific photo type (and thus dimensions) to each individual photo, overriding the global "Photo Type" setting if needed. If "Custom" is selected here, you'll be prompted to enter specific width and height for that photo.
